Uganda’s Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Names Baby Rhino ‘Obama’

Baby rhino named Obama born at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

At the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the first baby White Rhino born in Uganda after 28 years has been named Obama, after the U.S. President!

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary says baby Obama already has a personality and sense of humor all his own:

His mouth is constantly open making funny sounds trying to figure out all the sounds he can make.

He runs and jumps around all the time that he is not sleeping or feeding. He seems to be always busy playing his own imaginary games and just seems soooo happy to be around. Then, like all babies, he gets tired and takes a nap.

Check out more adorable photos of Obama the baby rhino on the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary website.

Thank you, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, for such a beautiful baby rhino!
